It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Lucille Genge (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Obed Ernst and Annie Loretta (Hyson); her husband Robert Genge (Bob); and her siblings, Evangeline, Obed, Frederick, Frank, Margaret, Dorothea and Paul.

She is survived by : her children, Donald Ernst (Beverly) and Patricia Oickle (Sammy); her grandchildren, Paula Snider and Richard Ernst (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Katie, Zachary and Bradyn; and her siblings, Alfred, Warren (Jackie) and Jackie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
