She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Whynot and Lee Whynot; and her brother Elvert "Roy" Whynot. She is survived by: her husband Archibald J. Rafuse; her children, John L. Rafuse (Sandra Rafuse), Larry J. Rafuse and Daphne M. Rafuse (Josh Rafuse); her grandchildren, April Rafuse, Stephanie Swinamer (Nathanael Swinamer) and Dylan Rafuse; and her siblings, Dorothy B., Linda S., Donna L., Amy H., Lillian J., Deborah W. and Victor W..
A reception will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mahone Funeral Home (32 Parish St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0).
