He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Stewart and Howard Stewart; his brother Gordon; and his foster brother William Lavallee. He is survived by: his significant other Esther Bourgeois; his children, Farah, Kirsti, James and Robbie; his grandchildren, Molly, Violet and Mason; his stepsons, John and Jason Murphy (Kelly); and his stepgrandchildren, Kennedy and Carter Murphy.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hennigar Room, Mahone Bay Centre (45 School St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0).
