He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Cameron and Edith Cameron (Archibald); his wife Helen Janet; and his grandson Connor. He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Anni Bretschneider) and Gail Salomon (Steve); his brothers, Robert (Joan), Stuart (Keiko) and Keith (Robin); his grandchildren, Jenna Carr (Jake), Mackenzie Cameron, Nicole Salomon and Rees Cameron; and his great grandchildren, Knox and Bennett Carr. He is also survived by sister, Margaret, British Columbia; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Victorian Order of Nurses.
