It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Charles Locke of Main-a-Dieu, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Locke and Jenny Locke (Boutilier); his significant other Mary Locke; his siblings, Josephia, Bill and Cecil Locke; his siblings-in-law, Kenny, Jim, Bill Spencer, Bill Bennett, Marcie, Linda, Ethel, Lucy, Kay and Cheryl; and his son-in-law Gary Gerard.
He is survived by: his children, Madonna Locke, Sydney, Glenda MacLeod (Hughie), Terry Locke (Kathleen), James Locke (Catherine), Sackville, Juanita MacKenzie (Phil), Marcella Gerard and Waverly; his siblings, Regina Snow (Herbie), Pius Locke (June), Flynn Locke, Tom Locke, Charlie Locke (Judy), George Locke, Angus Locke (Linda) and Les Locke (Ginny); his siblings-in-law, Geneva Locke, Margaret Bennett, Boston, Sheila Bates and Pat Bates (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa), Tanya (Stephen), Joey (Michelle), Angela (Brandon), Quentin (Kelly), Aaron (Kelsi), Jordyn, Jeffrey, Charlie and Laurie. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
