He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Philip Laska and Martha Laska (Palubiski); his close friend Dave Taylor; his son John Laska; his daughter-in-law Robin (Henbrey); his former life partner Sharon Phillips; his siblings, Henry Laska (Trish Mahoney), Dominic Laska (Colette St-Aubin), Elizabeth Laska (William "Bill" Wolff), Mary Laska (Samuel Loghrin), Gemma Laska (Don Barz) and Dorothy Laska (Grant Dobson); and also Karen Tremblay (Steven). He was also cherished by children who were his nieces and nephews, their spouses and their children, his grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
