It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Thomas Mitchell of Margaretsville, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Mitchell (Dwyer) and Harry Mitchell; his siblings, Allan, Keith, Ronald, Beatrice, Dolly and Joanne; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia, Manny Slaunwhite, Mise Blackburn, Edward Mahar, Donald Blackburn and Wendell Publicover.

He is survived by : his wife Donna (McInnis); his children, Natasha (Joel) and Barry (Kirsten); his siblings, Jack, Donald (Vera), Stanley (Linda), Robert Casey (Christina), Shirley Sampson (Tony), Gloria Mahar and Elaine Blackburn; his mother-in-law Marie McInnis (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia McInnis (Steven), Marie, Dean Brewer and Jody McInnis (Alicia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
