She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sibley and Ellen Sibley (Sargeant); her husband Cecil Kerr; her children, Everett Kerr, Cyril Kerr and Carolyn Zwicker (Ralph); and her daughters-in-law, Deborah, Loretta and Dominique.
She is survived by: her children, Stuart Kerr (Sheilah) of Meagher's Grant, NS, Calvin Kerr (Kimberley) of Mount Uniacke, NS, Edgar Kerr (Bonnie) of Lake Charlotte, NS, Richard Kerr (Krista) of Upper Sackville, NS and Jeanette Parnell (Derek) of Upper Lakeville, NS; and her daughter-in-law Jackie (Cyril). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James United Church (4217 NS-357, Meaghers Grant, NS B0N1V0). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Meaghers Grant Cemetery. A reception was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Meagher's Grant Community/ Fire Hall (4413 NS-357, Meaghers Grant, NS B0N1V0).
