Ross Benjamin MacKenzie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross Benjamin MacKenzie of Meaghers Grant, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence MacKenzie (Dares) and Owen MacKenzie; his brothers, Ivan and Kenny; and his sister-in-law Elaine.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Hawes; his children, Glenn (Glenda), Derrick, Douglas (Tanya), Danielle, Valerie (Shannon), Alanna (Zachary) and Darryl (Janelle); his grandchildren, Kyle, Deon, Dalton, Shaylyn, Cameron, Macy and Rosetta; his stepgrandchildren, Dillan and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Rachael, Wyllo and Olivia; and his siblings, Eileen Myers, Carol Vatcher (Rob), Donnie (Leanne), Linda Deale (Kirk), Barbara Taylor, Ronnie (Sheila) and Donna Elliott (Paul). He is also survived by pet chicken in addition to other animals.

Due to pandemic restrictions viewings will be arranged for family by appointment at Ettinger Funeral Home on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 9th, and a graveside committal service for immediate family only will be held on Friday, June 11th at 11am.
