He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis Doucet and Eva Doucet (Saulnier); his siblings, James Doucet and Anita Babin; and his nephew Jimmy Doucet.

He is survived by: his wife Muriel Doucet (Romain) of Cape St; his son Danny (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sydney, Jacque and Shane; his sisters, Marie Madeleine Belliveau and Marguerite Saulnier of Salmon River; and his brother-in-law Albert Romain (Eileen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
