She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Comeau of Meteghan; and her brothers, Normand, Mederic and Hubert. She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Maine), Charles, André, Roland (Lake Doucette) and Gisele Baker; her children-in-law, Jill Flynn, Laura Comeau and Gary Baker; her grandchildren, Eric, Matthew Baker, Christian Comeau, Ivy Comeau and Noa Comeau; and her sisters, Jean Nash (Chester), Lucilla O'Connell and Fedora Deveau.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Church (8270 Nova Scotia Trunk 1, Meteghan, NS B0W2J0). The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Foyer Celeste who always made sure that Mame was well cared for, especially during COVID, as well as to the nurses at Yarmouth Regional hospital, who cared for her during her last weeks on Earth.
