She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Deveau and June Deveau (Doucette) of Salmon River; and her sister Monica. She is survived by: her significant other Kevin Melanson; her children, Milton (Tisha) and Marsha; her grandchildren, Keenan, Nikita, Connor, Xavier and Chase; her mother-in-law Edna Melanson; and her siblings, Bernie (Carol), Patrick (Karen), Paula and Paul (Melissa). She is also survived by her partner, children, grandchildren, family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salmon River Fire Hall (4821 Nova Scotia Trunk 1, Weymouth, NS B0W3T0). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
