Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ellen MacQuarrie of Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, who passed away, on January 18, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira McFetridge and Grace McFetridge (Hanna); her husband George MacQuarrie; and her brothers, Victor, Donald and John McFetridge (Jack).
She is survived by : her children, Martha McHardy of Cobble Hill, BC, Moira Smyth (Vic) of Richmond, BC, Ranald MacQuarrie, Isabella MacQuarrie (Phil Wright) and Ian MacQuarrie (Nancy Murchy); her granddaughters, Casandra Jakubiec of Nelson, BC and Hanna Smyth of Oxford, UK.; and her cousin Ellen McFetridge. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Private family graveside service to be held at a later date, and there will be notice of a celebration of life once pandemic restrictions have been lifted.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to a charity of your choice or the MS Society of Canada.
