She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hyland and Anita Boucher; her husband Doug; and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her sons, Garnet and Kris; and her brothers, Allen (Charlotte), Wayne (Caron) and Frederick (Cecile). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.
