She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Beiswanger and Catherine Beiswanger (Haynes); her siblings, Myrtle Turner and Harold Beiswanger; and her grandchildren, Angelia Burke and Nolan Teal.
She is survived by: her partner Charlie Fougere; her children, Rhonda Burke (Rob Rudolph), Craig (Tammy) and Pamela (Sean Kirk); her stepchildren, Kim Fougere and Tricia Fougere (Chris Hood); her grandchildren, Chris Burke (Aimee Searle), Dylan Poisson (Sidney Irons), April Poisson (Austin Macdonnell) and Kennedy Teal; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Williams and Darian Fougere; her great grandchild Lilly Poisson; and her stepgreat-grandchild Ryleigh Williams.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Oakridge Chapel (1110 Old Sackville Rd, Middle Sackville, NS B4E3A6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Glenda can be made to the Cobequid Community Health Center, QEII Health Sciences Center, or Canadian Lung Association.
