We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2019, Gloria Ann Brinen (Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Etzel Leighton and Annie Leighton; her children, Larry (Debra), Sue Brinen and Sheila Garnier (Wally); her grandchildren, Lisa Glode (Matthew), Colleen Martens (Chad), Peter Brinen (Lindsey), Mary Brinen, Amy Cooke (Mike), Laura Brinen, Jillian Motz (Matt), Marshall Brinen-Young, Marc Garnier and Shaelynn Garnier; her siblings, Meril, Clairie (Cheryl), Raymond (Debbie), Steve and Lorna Wattie (Doug); her husband Bernard; her sister Sylvia McMillan (Jack); her great grandchild Cody Glode; and her sister-in-law Vi Leighton. She was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
