She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Everett Slauenwhite and Freda Slauenwhite of Upper Sackville; her husband Graham Hefler; her children, Blaine, Linda and Tracy; and her aunt Marge.

She was dedicated to her Church, Sackville United Baptist Church where she never missed a worship even during our covid years thanks the newly "Live Video" services.
