It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Anthony Corbin of Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Corbin and Margaret Corbin (Wyatt); his wife Jannette; and his sister Suzan Trottier. He is survived by : his children, Dwain (Donna), Derek and Natasha (Jamie); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Alex), Cameron (Alicia), Alexandra and Theran; and his siblings, Ted (Linda) and Catherine. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

“It is with great sorrow that I have only today learned of Phil's passing. I have many fond memories of conversations with Phil and not always about my mechanical needs. Our connection goes back to two weeks after he and Dwayne first opened the shop and has lasted all these years. As a loyal customer we had developed a mutual respect for each other, he for my needs and me for his capabilities. Our heartfelt condolences Dwayne and all the family. He will be missed. Sharon & Ray”
