He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Francis Ring and Elsie Mae Ring (Craig); his brothers, Harold Eric Ring and John Gordon Ring; his nephew Sean Eric Ring; his grandparents, George Thomas and Sarah Ring (Toole); and his great-grandparent John Francis Ring.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Susan Ring, Amy Elizabeth Ring (Mark MacGillivray) and Rebecca Lynn Ring (Richard Lee); his former wife Carol Ann Ring (Estabrooks); his grandchildren, Erica Dawn Janetta (Anthony), Matthew Robert Ring (Brittany), Kristen Jade Alderson (Colin), Erin Margaret Ring (Zachary) and Rian MacGillivray; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Amy Janetta and William Robert Jannetta; his nephew John Gordon Ring; his sister-in-law Doris Ring (Hirtle); and also William Jarvis Ring.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Homes, Oakridge Chapel (1110 Old Sackville Rd, Middle Sackville, NS B4E3A6).
