He is survived by: his father Donald Gavel; his wife Cathy Baillie-Gavel; his children, Heidi and Mason; his stepchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) and Katie (Vincent); his brother Pete; his sister-in-law Lynn (Dan); his sibling's children, Erica, Sydney and Scott; and his grandsons, Simon and Wesley.
