We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 75, Barbara Ann Annis (Middleton, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Parks and Lurleene Parks; her siblings, Patricia Richter and Hugh Parks; her father-in-law Harold Annis; and her siblings-in-law, Alfred Longley and Geraldine Annis.

She is survived by : her husband James (Jim); her children, Jamie Annis (Carrie), Lora Gosse (Graham) and Matthew Annis (Carlee); her grandchildren, Hunter Annis, Cooper Annis, Keenan Annis, Daniel Gosse (Caelum), Taylor Gosse (Jillian Bateman), Myles Gosse, Lillian Gosse, Maddax Annis and Elsja Annis; her great grandchildren, Maliyah and Kaynen Gosse; her siblings, Marie Nixon (Bill), Freda Bell, Joan Bell (Graham), Donna Hatt, Carolyn Parks (Mike Pineo) and Terry Parks (Susan); and her sisters-in-law, Lorna Copp (Donald), Dorothy Annis and Rose Longley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the Nictaux Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Valley Hospice Foundation or the breakfast programs at Middleton Regional High School and Annapolis East Elementary School.
