She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dennis and Effie Dennis; her husband Fred Healy; her son Robert Porter; and her brothers, Thomas and Robert Dennis.
She is survived by: her close friend Victor Moore; her children, Eddy Porter (Cyndi) and Joan Penny (Glenn); her stepchildren, Wanda Batson (Rick), Philip Healy (Chantal), Crystal Healy (Kelly) and Brenda Healy; her grandchildren, Kempton Phillips, Dominique Roy (Chris), Travis Porter, Mitchel Lowe (Vanessa), Emma Batson (Ben), Alicia Agombar (Phil), Cassandra Trimper (Steve), Devonna Coleman and Evanya Coleman; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Olivia, Judith, Avery, Zoë, Everett, Felix, Paul, Effie, Joyanna, Jordyn and Hailea; and her siblings, Carole, Ada and Fred.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:55 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
