She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Bent and Dorothy Bent (Slocomb); and her siblings, Malcom (Mary), Lloyd (Betty), Gilbert, Barbara Appleby (Donald) and Lucy Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Moore, Debra Fredericks (Kenneth), Paula Wallis (Greg) and Edgar (Nell); her grandchildren, Laura Gaudio (Patrick), Kenny Fredericks (Krissy), Rev. Michael Fredericks (Julia), Lindsay Freckleton, Jonathan Gysbers, Luke Gysbers, Sarah Gysbers and Arianna Beals; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Bent and Roger Fowler. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:55 AM at the Funeral Home Website Under Live Stream. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). Due to COVID and mobility issues, it was necessary to worship at home online.
Donations in memory of Dot may be made to Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton or a charity of choice.
