He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Bert" Mewton and Virginia Mewton (Reynolds). He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Marguerite Lutz; and his children, Mark Mewton and Shelley Mewton (Lindsay Stoddart) of Lawrencetown. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
