He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Pearle and B. Elaine Pearle (Brewster); and his siblings, Ivan, Del Pearle and Heather Gillis-Pearle.
He is survived by: his son Stephen of Kelowna, B. C.; his stepdaughter Tanya George; and his brother Keith Pearle (Bonnie). He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
