He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ogilvie and Viola Ogilvie; his wife Alice Hird; his son Mark Ogilvie; his grandsons, Dustin and Malcolm Ogilvie; and his siblings-in-law, Budd Sanford, Richard Doucet, Kenneth Hird, John Sturk, Kay Hird and Flora Thurston.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Carla), Steven (Kathleen) and Daniel (Julie); his grandchildren, Shane Ogilvie (Candace), Nicole Ogilvie, Andrew Ogilvie, Alyssa Swindell (Cameron), Jordan Ogilvie and Tabitha Jackson; his great grandchildren, Donovan Ogilvie, Kalum Ogilvie and Nixie Ogilvie; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Thurston, Betty Doucet, Norma Sturk and Nancy Sanford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
