We announce the death of Ross Ashley Weaver (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 73. Ross will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ross will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ross will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ross’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert A. Weaver and Margaret I. Weaver (MacMurtery). He is survived by: his friend Russell Freeman; his son Blaine (Chantal); his grandson Walter of Timberlea; his former wife Jacqueline; and his sisters, Denise Weaver and Davlyn Book. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at the Bay View Cemetery.
