It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Emelie Armstrong (Middleton, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, P. Donald Morris and Norene J. Morris (Woodworth). She is survived by: her husband William G. "Bill" Armstrong; her sister Donna Pineo (Rick) of Welsford; her stepchildren, Richard Armstrong (Megan), Beth Gallant (Steven) and Josh Armstrong; and her sibling's children, Dorothy Jones (Darren), Emelie Sponagle (Matthew) and Donald Pineo (Meghan). She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Baptist Church (1836 Torbrook Rd, Wilmot, NS B0P1W0). A burial was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at the North Kingston Cemetery (1756 Bishop Mountain Rd, Kingston, NS B0P1R0).
