Shirley Caroline Connell Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley Caroline Connell (Middleton, Nova Scotia). Shirley, born on March 5, 1935, passed away on July 19, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Caroline Connell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Banks and Velma Banks (Bent); and her siblings, Garnet Banks, Percy Banks, Raymond "Leroy" Banks, Douglas, Donald Banks, Willard, Wilfred, Patricia Conrad, Irene Naugler and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Connell (Kathy), Brian "Fuzzy" Connell (Angie), Bruce Connell, Beth Whynot (Gordon), Inglisville, Bev Connell (Sarah) and Martha Roberts (Todd); and her sisters, Adah Freeman, Kingston, Gerry Ritchie (Wayne) and Auburn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Hillside Cemetery in Port George.
