She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Slauenwhite and Anna Slauenwhite (Watton); her son Larry; her grandson Liam; her brother Robert "Bobby"; and her nephew Corey Freeman.
She is survived by: her husband Ervine; her children, Stephen and Colleen; her grandchildren, Melanie, Aaron, Ashleigh (Pamela) and Larissa (Bailey); and her sister Theresa Freeman (Harvey). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully received by Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Valley Search and Rescue, two charities close to the family's heart.
