It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Elizabeth Messenger of Mineville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Beryl Elizabeth (Pady) and Reginald Brian Wise. She is survived by : her husband Lawrence; her daughters, Stephanie Murphy (Kevin) and Katherine MacAulay (Alexander); her grandchildren, Rachael, Jackson and Sophia; her siblings, Alison Dain (Stephen) of Brighton-Le, Sydney, Gillian Roulston (John) of Brighton, ON and David Wise (Jenny) of Dawlish; and her former life partner Stephanie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in Sally's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. David's United Church, Lake Echo.

“Hello Larry. From time to time, I regularly check the obituaries and sadly today I see the passing of Sally last month. My condolences Larry. Hope you are doing OK and are well. I fondly remember you as my supervisor during my days with the Investigations section of the CRA. That was a long time ago as I have been retired for 20 years.
