He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter and Cecilia; and his siblings, Joseph, Donald, Karl and Mary.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy (McGrath); his children, Ken (Nadine), Marlane (Brian), Heidi and Jen; his siblings, Irene (Darrel), Janet (George), Gary (Judy), Ernest (Brenda) and Vincent; and his grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Mark, Zoe, Daniel and Jemma. He is also survived by extended family, Mary's girls, lifelong friends, friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Society or charity of choice.
