With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Edith MacDonald of Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence Edith MacDonald to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Taylor and Harold Taylor; and her sister Sharon Chapman (Gerald). She is survived by: her husband Keith MacDonald; her children, Norman MacDonald (Jennifer Shaw) and Shelley Drane (Chris); her grandson Malcolm Drane; and her siblings, Eileen Banks (Rodney) and Russell (Cindy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place (24 Church St, Mulgrave, NS B0E2G0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Wesley United Church (32 Queen St, Guysborough, NS B0H1N0). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, to honor her memory donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Cambrai Branch 37, Mulgrave or to the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
