She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey St and Elizabeth St (MacAloney); her son-in-law Nevil Howard; her siblings, Margaret Dwyer (Jim), Lillian Bray (Joe), Billy St (Agnes), Archie St (Valerie), John St. Peter and David St (Agnes); her parent-in-law Webb MacDonald (Daisy); and her brother-in-law Dennis MacDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Eric; her children, Jason (Michelle) and Tanya MacDonald-Howard; her grandchildren, Grace and Isaac; and her sisters-in-law, Rosella MacDonald and Linda Porter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fenwick Cemetery (617 Fenwick Rd, Nappan, NS B0L1C0).
Memorial contributions in Bernadette's memory can be made to the Salem Baptist Church, Sackville, LA Animal Shelter or the Alzheimer Society.
