It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Smith (Nappan, Nova Scotia), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 18, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Smith and Wilma Smith (Cove); his sons, Rob Roy and Eugene Smith II; and his siblings, Rella Neri and Roland Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Doris (Dixon); his son Matthew Smith (Avis); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Miller; and his siblings, Helen Taulien (Karl) of Fredericton, NB, Gail Boon of Cranbrook, BC, Murray Smith (Virginia) of Toronto, ON and Dana Ring. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Eugene's memory can be made to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Palliative Care Unit.
