She was predeceased by: her parent Melvin Budge; and her siblings, Alex, George, Buddy, Allie and Marie Fraser.

She is survived by: her parent Blanche Budge (Turner); her husband James Smith (Jimmy); her daughters, Melvina Smith (Steven), Frenchvale and Anne-Marie MacLeod (Kevin); her brother Gordon Budge; and her grandson Dylan MacLeod.
