We announce the death of Dawn Sharon Corkum (New Germany, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 10, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Mader and Virginia Mader (Tanner); her former husband Everette Wentzell; her husband Enos Corkum; her children, Rosalie and Roger Wentzell; and her siblings, Doris, Marilyn, Carol Ann, Gordon, Theodore and David.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Lantz (Thomas), Clearland, Ramona Penney (Darren) and Gloria Corkum (John Bruce) of Ottawa, ON.; her daughter-in-law Sherry Selig; her sons, Russell Wentzell (Elaine) and Raymond Wentzell; her stepson Lennis Corkum (Brenda); her grandchildren, Nichole Goguen (Daniel), Corey Conrad (Natalie), Ryan Wentzell (Cynthia), Christopher Wentzell (Tracy Hirtle), Rachel Penney of Hamilton, ON., Robin Penney, Nikolas Hopkins of Ottawa, ON., Karina Wentzell of New Germany and Dyson Wentzell of New Germany; her stepgrandchildren, Tammy Hubley (Ryan), Brittany Bruce and Jason Corkum (Tiffany) of Red Deer, AB.; her sisters, Faye Penney (Darrell) of Bridgewater, Kingston of Bridgewater, Judith (Joe) of Bridgewater, Patricia Wentzell of Bridgewater, Pinehurst of Bridgewater, Diane Frittenburg of Bridgewater and Kimberly Smith of Bridgewater; her sisters-in-law, Thelma Mader of Bridgewater and Ruth Mader of Bridgewater; and her brothers, Ivan Mader, Ross Mader of Squamish, BC, Dennis Mader (Wendy), Richard Mader of Chilliwach, BC, Eric Mader (Annette), Allen Mader (Valerie) and Barrie Mader (Ken). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
