He is survived by: his father Edgar Ray Russell; his siblings, Rona Russell of New Germany, Deborah (Rick Harlow) of New Germany and Wade Russell (Donna Robar) of New Germany; his nieces and nephews, Gary Mailman, Shelley Mailman, Jordan Russell and Shelby Russell; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden Robar, Talesse Rawding and Autum Mailman; and his nephew Leo Brigley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
