He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Veinot and Gertrude Veinot; his siblings, Ralph Veinot, Miriam Rhodenhizer (Veinot) and Sheila Uhlman (Veinot); his grandson Charlie Veinot; and his brothers-in-law, Mervin Rhodenizer and Merle Rhodenizer.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Veinot; his children, Heidi Simms (Larry) and Shawn Veinot (Andrea); his grandchildren, Grace Simms (Dion), Bayport, Colby Simms (Kate), New Germany, Taylor Wentzel (Colby), Riley Veinot (Amber) and Conquerall Mills; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Blaze, Sterling, Theo Wentzel of Upper Northfield and Waylon Veinot of Conquerall Mills; his sisters, June Rhodenhizer and Sharon Carver (Wade); and his sister-in-law Louise Veinot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
