Mary Louise Legge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Legge (New Germany, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oickle and Idella Oickle; her husbands, John Legge and Harold Mosher; her siblings, Lois Tufts, Nellie Benjamin and Albert Oickle; and her siblings-in-law, Parker Tufts, Donald Zinck, Claude Northup and Ethel Northup.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Varner (Kenneth), Wanda Legge (Cameron Crook), Laura Best (Brian), Randy Legge (Peggy) and Kelly LeFurgey (Todd); her sisters, Ida Zinck and Eileen "Arlene" Oickle; and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Oickle, Barbara Baker and Gerald Mosher. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home (4895 Nova Scotia Trunk 10, New Germany, NS B0R1E0).
