She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddius "Thaddie" Gould and Dora Gould (Laurette); her husband Vernon Lester Whynot; her sisters, Eileen, Marguerite, Mae and Beatrice; and her pet Cyrus (Bubbles).
She is survived by: her sons, Peter Whynot (Keith) and Kevin Whynot (Christie); her grandson Blake Whynot (Alysha); and her niece Doris Ann MacKenzie. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
