We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Aileen Perkins (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Pineau and Gladys Pineau (McCormick); her husband Lawrence; her son Carl; her daughter-in-law Ann; and her sister Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene LeBlanc (Eric) of Shediac, NB, Betty MacKay (Norman) of Fort MacMurray, AB, Robert of Dallas, TX, Douglas (Jocelyn), Gary (Jenny), Eric (Trudy), Leo (Jeannette) and Kevin of Bedford, NS; her daughter-in-law Wanda of Cambridge Station, NS; and her siblings, Phyllis Pitts of Dartmouth, NS, Marguerite Ryan of Valley, NS, Miriam Cormier (Frank) of Antigonish, NS, Douglas (Mary) and Winston (Mary). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Donations in Aileen's memory may be made to Diabetes Canada, the Canadian Downs Syndrome Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
