She was predeceased by: her parents, Heikki "Henry" Hukkala (Henry) and Helmi Hukkala (Mikkola); her husband Murdock MacLean; her brother Kalevi Hukkala; and her parents-in-law, Chester and Marion MacLean.

She is survived by: her children, Shannon MacLean and Murdock J. MacLean; her grandsons, Ben MacLean and Brandyn Benjamin (Olivia); her brother Kaarlo; her sisters-in-law, Rena Hukkala, Connie Hukkala and Beverly Rivest (Al); her nieces, Liisa (Jeff), Kaari (Jason) and Heather (Darcy); and her pet Angie.
