Barbara Ann Kennedy Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Esther Ann Powell (Tate); her husband LCol Thomas Irvin "Tom" Kennedy; her children, Gary Kennedy and Linda Cameron; her granddaughter Elysha; and her son-in-law John Cameron.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Russell (Tony), New Glasgow, Patricia Irving (Dan), Bernadette Kellock (Terry), Dawn Kennedy, Egerton and John Kennedy (Karen); and her grandchildren, Jerry, Kathy, Kirk, Kimberley, Petra, Desiree, Jeremy, Erica, Amy, Pamela, Emily, Philip, Trevor, Christopher and Ryan. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (390 High St, New Glasgow, NS B2H2X7).
