It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil Joseph Tibbo of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Tibbo and Mary Tibbo; his wife Annie MacAulay; his son Bobby; and his siblings, Eileen, Garnet, Neil and Gordon.
He is survived by: his friends, Lawrence Hafey, Bill, Diane Williams, Foster Elms, Preston Bonvie, Doreen Jordan, Wayne Gerrior and Ron Olding; his children, Sharon Staysko (Bob) of Calgary Alberta and Basil Tibbo (Susan) of Lourdes; his daughter-in-law Judy; his siblings, Genesta, Edith and Dougie; and his grandchildren, Anthony Tibbo, Timothy Tibbo (Wilma), Lisa Tibbo, Christopher Tibbo, Tiffany Fraser (Derek), Ashley Tibbo, Ryan Staysko (Alana), Michael Staysko (Colette) and Rob Staysko. He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren and extended relatives and friends.
There will be no services, donations, or flowers by Dad's request.
