He was predeceased by : his parents, Katherine Stewart (MacGillivray) and Hugh Stewart; his brothers, Ronald "Ron" (Helen) and Jerome; and his pet Pomeranians.
He is survived by : his children, Kevin (Hillary Jones), Kurtis (Tanya Curtis), Katie (Kyle Snyder) and Kris; his wife Eleanor (Henderson); his sons, Brookville, Sutherlands River, Kristopher (Amy Cameron) and Trenton; his grandchildren, Dylan, Haiden, Brandt, Tilly, Ellis, Lawson and Lachie; his siblings, Ann Grant (Cole Harbour), Marion MacDonald (Edgar), Ashdale, Charlie (Annette), Ohio, Edward "Ned" (June), Newmarket, Terry (Linda), Brampton, Ont and Donnie (Wilhelmina); and his brother-in-law John Henderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In particular, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the nurses of the 5th Floor at the Aberdeen Hospital who cared for Brian with compassion while handling his twisted humor with amusement or bewilderment, and becoming he and his family's lifeline, especially during COVID hospital lockdowns.
