Janet Clarke wrote a sympathy message

“Please accept my deepest condolences. I knew Burma when her family lived in Glace Bay, we walked to school every day from the hub to New Aberdeen School. She was such a sweet child, so quiet, and polite. The teachers as well as all our classmates just loved her. Although I never knew where she moved to I thought of her often over the years. I hope her life was filled with love and happiness. She so deserved it. R.I.P my childhood friend. Sincerily, Janet (Turner) Clarke.”
