He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Mason and Anna Mason (Murdock); his sister Ora Jordan; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Mason and Orman "Nonnie" Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Christine (Johnston); his brother Lewis Mason; and his sibling's children, Leanne Goodwin (Anthony Daemen), Meadow Green, Wanda DeCoste (Gordon), Havre Bocher, Carrie Mason (Danny LeBlanc), Abercrombie, Paul Jordan (Ponds), Daniel Jordan (Ponds), David Mason (Rhonda) and Orville Mason (River).
