She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Murphy and Elsie Murphy (Spanks) of Trenton, NS.; her husband Leo Williams; her brothers, Gary and Barry Murphy; and her brother-in-law Murdock MacKenzie.

She is survived by : her sisters, Eileen MacKenzie (Trenton) and Brenda Murphy; her nieces, Lisa MacKenzie and Sandra MacKenzie Ehler (Billy); her great-nephew Wyatt MacKenzie Ehler; her brother-in-law Glenn Williams (Betty); and her close friend Freda (McIntyre).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
