He was predeceased by: his father George Wood Sinnis; his former wife Mabel Sinnis (Culton); his stepchildren, Sharon Breene, Bernard Greene and Ricky Greene; and his siblings, Helen Michaud, Elmer McGrath, Jean Fraser, Gerald Sinnis and Eva MacLeod.

He is survived by: his wife Jean MacDonald Greene Sinnis; his children, Beth McKenna (Larry), Joan DeLong (Chris), Carol Sinnis (Mark) and George Sinnis; his stepchildren, Carol Mills (Jim), Donna Jordan (Arnold) and Stephen Greene (Rosanna); his friends, Peter, Gordon and Albert; and his caregiver Kaitlin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
